The information is stored as long as the user and SeaFox Kalajoki Oy / SeaKalajoki have a valid mutual agreement and/or consent.

The processing of the register is carried out with care, and the information processed through data systems is properly protected. When register information is stored on internet servers, the physical and digital security of the hardware is taken care of appropriately. The data controller ensures that stored information, as well as server usage rights and other information critical to the security of personal data, are treated confidentially and only by those employees whose job description requires it.
The register is located in the Johku service, and Aptual Commerce Oy acts as the data processor. Only the data controller and the technical maintenance staff of Aptual Commerce Oy have access to complete registry information.

Everyone in the register has the right to check their own information stored in the register and to correct any incorrect or incomplete information. SeaFox Kalajoki Oy / SeaKalajoki automatically automates this right using the Johku system in the following way:
Johku communicates with the user about the processing of their personal data through the merchant's confirmation messages in the My Johku service. The messages contain a link to the My Johku service.
In My Johku, the user can check the information stored about themselves and make any necessary corrections. The service also has functionality that allows the user to download the information in a structured format for transferring to another system. The My Johku service can be accessed anytime at johku.com/customer.
Oma Johku also offers the option to terminate the Oma Johku agreement and delete the data from Oma Johku. If the user discontinues using Oma Johku and terminates the agreement with Johku, all automatic functions related to managing their own information will cease. After the termination of the agreement, the user must manage their own information (review, correction, right to be forgotten, restriction, right to transfer to another system) in writing directly with SeaFox Kalajoki Oy/SeaKalajoki. SeaFox Kalajoki Oy/SeaKalajoki may request the requester to verify their identity if necessary. SeaFox Kalajoki Oy/SeaKalajoki will respond to the written request within the time frame stipulated by the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (usually within a month).
The use of the Oma Johku service is free of charge.
The data subject has the right to request the deletion of their personal data from the register ("right to be forgotten"). Data subjects also have other rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, such as restricting the processing of personal data in certain situations.
It should be noted, however, that the information stored in SeaFox Kalajoki Oy/SeaKalajoki's customer register is always generated when a customer purchases products and/or services. In this case, SeaFox Kalajoki Oy/SeaKalajoki is also bound by the accounting and tax legislation's obligations to retain the material.
